At Rs 16.19 Lakh, The Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI Launched.
The more powerful 1.5 TSI version of the Skoda Slavia was offered in a single, fully loaded Style trim level just a few days after the 1.0 TSI version. The manual Slavia 1.5 TSI costs Rs 16.19 lakh, while the automatic costs Rs 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Bookings for the Slavia 1.5 TSI have already begun, with deliveries expected to begin by the end of the month.
What Makes the Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI Different From the 1.0 TSI?
The biggest difference is that this version of the Slavia is equipped with a more powerful 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI turbo-petrol engine that produces 150 horsepower and 250 Nm (same as the unit in the Kushaq). This engine is available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. There are no visual differences between the 1.0 TSI and the 2.0 TSI models, thus they both have a well-proportioned and streamlined appearance with strong linkages to the rest of Skoda's sedan lineup.
As previously stated, the Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI is only available in the top-tier Style trim. This includes a free-standing 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, connected car tech, digital instrument cluster automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, a wireless charger, rear AC vents, and a sunroof. Skoda also includes six airbags, ESC, an electronic differential system (EDS), and a tyre pressure monitor in this Style trim.
