The New Maruti Baleno will be Available With Amazon Alexa on February 23rd.

Maruti Suzuki has disclosed further details about the new Baleno's characteristics in the run-up to its launch on February 23. While elements like a heads-up display and a new touchscreen have already been disclosed, the Baleno will now include a more extensive array of connected car technologies.

The connected car technology is the most important lesson from Maruti Suzuki's recent announcement. While Suzuki Connect technology is available on the majority of the company's vehicles, the Baleno will get an improved version.

The new system will expand on the automaker's current connected platform, adding new connection capabilities such as Amazon Alexa support. Customers will be able to issue voice commands to their vehicles using Alexa-enabled devices. The Baleno isn't the first vehicle in the mass-market class to feature Alexa support; the fifth-generation Honda City does as well. Maruti Suzuki has also stated that its latest connected car technology would accept remote controls via the user's smartwatch, as well as a built-in voice assistant on the previously announced 9.0-inch SmartPlay Pro+ display. Maruti's system is also expected to have standard smartphone connectivity features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The company has confirmed that the Baleno will include segment-first features like a 360-degree camera and a heads-up display.
