The Pricing of a Mahindra Bolero with Twin Airbags Starts at Rs 8.85 Lakh.

The requirement that all new vehicles sold in India be equipped with twin airbags as standard only took effect in January 2022. Previously, numerous cheap vehicles such as the Maruti Suzuki Alto and S-Presso, the Renault Kwid, and the Mahindra Bolero only had a driver-side airbag, or only had a passenger airbag as a paid option or on top-spec versions.

Mahindra has quietly modified the Bolero to include dual airbags as standard equipment, bringing it up to date with current safety rules. The Bolero costs between Rs 8.85 lakh and Rs 9.86 lakh at the moment (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

Dual Airbags are now Standard on the Mahindra Bolero in 2022.

Mahindra had to make minor interior changes to accommodate the insertion of an airbag on the passenger side of the dashboard. Previously, the Bolero's passenger side dashboard included a large grab grip. However, a conventional dashboard panel and a new faux wood garnish on the passenger side, identical to the wood finish on the central console around the AC vents and music system, have been installed in their place.

Mahindra was also expected to offer new dual-tone color options for the Bolero, with prototypes having previously been spotted on the road. The Bolero, on the other hand, is still available in only three monotone paint colors: white, silver, and brown.
